Who is the data controller

The controller of personal data processed in connection with the tripcover.pl website is 1000 MIAST Tomasz Wilkosz, Plac Grodnicki 1, 70-210 Szczecin, Poland, tax ID (NIP) PL9551896675, REGON 811690936. Contact: info@tripcover.pl, tel. (+48) 91 434 1000.

What data we process

The website has no contact or registration forms, so we do not ask you for any data. We process only:

• Server log data: IP address, date and time of the request, page address, browser type. The server software records them automatically. Basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and working properly (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Statistical data: which pages are visited and where you come from. We collect it only if you agree in the banner (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time.
• Contact data: if you phone or e-mail us, we use the details you give us only to answer your question (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

What happens when you click “Buy insurance”

A sales system run by the insurance agent Sindbad IT sp. z o.o. (entry number in the register of insurance agents, RAU: 11239999/A) opens. Even if it is displayed in a window on our page, it is a separate website. The data you enter there, such as your name, date of birth, address and payment details, goes to the agent and the insurer, not to us. We have no access to it and we do not store it. The privacy policy of that website sets out how the data is processed.

Cookies

Cookies are small files saved by your browser. We use two kinds:

• Essential: they remember your choice from the consent banner and the language you choose in the language switcher (the tc_lang cookie, kept for one year). Without them we would ask for consent on every visit. They do not require consent.
• Statistical: they let us count visits and see which content is useful. They are off by default and are switched on only if you agree.

We do not use advertising or profiling cookies. We do not load fonts or scripts from third-party servers: all files are served from our own domain, so your IP address does not reach external providers without your knowledge.

You can withdraw your consent at any time: clear the cookies in your browser settings and the banner will appear again.

How long we keep data

• Server logs: up to 12 months.
• Statistical data: up to 14 months from the visit.
• E-mail correspondence: for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and to meet accounting requirements.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. If processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.
