How to buy insurance for Poland: a guide to the Polish form

The Go Safe purchase system is in Polish only. This guide takes you through every screen and explains what to click and what to type. The numbers on each screenshot match the list next to it, which shows the Polish words from the screen in bold, with their meaning in English.

Before you start

  • Make sure Go Safe is the right insurance for you: your country of permanent residence must not be Poland. See who it is for.
  • For each person you are insuring, have ready: surname and first name as in their passport, date of birth, address of permanent residence and an e-mail address.

The declarations on the last screen, in English

  1. You confirm that you received and read the General Terms (OWU) and the product information sheet (IPID), and that you accept them.
  2. You confirm that you read the data-protection information card of TU Europa (“Karta informacyjna RODO”).
  3. You declare that you are knowingly deciding to conclude the proposed contract and are applying for it on the basis of the General Terms.
  4. You declare that you were informed of the right to withdraw from the contract within 30 days from receiving the confirmation of the contract (or from receiving the information required by the Polish Consumer Rights Act, if that is later).
  5. You agree that the cover starts before the withdrawal period ends, and you were informed that the insurer may then demand the premium for the service actually provided.
  6. If you buy the insurance for another person, you declare that you gave that person the General Terms on a durable medium, with their consent.
  7. You authorise TU Europa to obtain information about your health and treatment from healthcare providers (excluding genetic test results), for the purpose of establishing the right to the benefit and its amount.
  8. You authorise TU Europa to obtain from the National Health Fund the names and addresses of the providers who treated you.
